About Me

Hi, I'm Goutami Mishra, a professional oil and acrylic painting artist based in Pune, India. My artworks are part of private collections across the globe, including Australia, Canada, India, Singapore, the UK, and the USA.

With over a decade of experience in oil and acrylic painting, my work is characterized by bold, vivid colors and a deep emotional range. Through my art, I explore the beauty of nature, landscapes, seascapes, forests, wildlife, and the emotions and interactions of humans and animals. My paintings often reflect themes of spirituality, humanity, and the interconnectedness of natural elements, blending traditional and contemporary art styles with subtle influences from Indian culture. I believe art is a powerful medium to express emotions and to carry cultural values from one generation to the next.

Nature has always been my greatest teacher and inspiration. What we learn and take from nature, we must give back. With this belief, I began documenting my artistic journey and creating short and full-length painting tutorials to share my knowledge with fellow art enthusiasts. These tutorials are designed to support and inspire artists at various stages of their creative journey.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I completed a Master’s degree in Computer Applications and spent nearly 10 years in the software industry, working across diverse roles and organizations. While the journey was enriching, my passion for painting ultimately led me to transition into a full-time professional artist, a path I have been devoted to for the past ten years.

Today, my artworks are represented by several renowned international galleries, including Saatchi Art, Fizdi, Gallerist, and more, making my work available to collectors worldwide.

I also run a YouTube channel dedicated to sharing painting tutorials with art learners around the world. In addition, I offer comprehensive step-by-step courses on Udemy, designed to help beginners start their artistic journey and assist intermediate artists in refining techniques and overcoming creative challenges. My constant endeavor is to deliver high-quality, practical, and meaningful content that truly benefits the global art community.
